Arts Related to Camels

• Firstly: Alhambal

  Alhambal is performed upon the entry of camels to Alardha race field and during parade. The participant riders are divided into two groups that repeat songs expressing authenticity of camels and pride with.

• Secondly: Altaghroud

  Altaghroud was performed during ancient times when camels raced in convoys. It is now performed during carnivals and national festivals. The participant riders are divided into two groups that repeat songs expressing authenticity of camels and pride with as relief while travelling.

• Thirdly : Altariq

  It is an ancient nomadic ( Badu) art, performed upon arrival of convoys on rest places as relief from travel fatigue.
